Essentially, the Gods of this world are divided into two factions: the Ahura and the Angra. The Ahura can be considered "good", though they wouldn't necessarily classify themselves as such. They vie for control of the world's destiny with the Angra. And their ultimate goal is to spread a paradise-like condition over the whole world. The Ahura are led by a triumvirate that is essentially the same being split into three facets of his personality.

Alala is often depicted with a feminine form. She is the warrior like aspect of the triumvirate. She is a protector.

Ananta is at the center of the triumvirate, the Infinite from who the other two forms come. He is compassion and love and is the balance for Alala and Arwan.

Arwan is the final form of the triumvirate. She deals in justice and meting out divine punishments.

The Angra on the other hand are not a peaceful sort. They thrive on chaos, destruction, and ruin. They sought to remake the world in their own image -- full of strife and anger and hatred. They are known for devouring their own. Much like the Ahura, the Angra are essentially led by a triumvirate.
